Can anyone tell me if this is the norm. I didnt have any stitches but it still feels quite tender down there.

I have heard that it is normal to be sore for awhile after giving birth..you could have just been severly bruised. My advise would be to use alot of lube and take things slow...maybe a glass of wine will help:) If it still persists for another month or more, check with your doctor.
