yes, you may of had it done by choice, but you also have to have it done when it's not done by choice and your baby is not naturally miscarried by the body. So if your preg and your baby no longer has a heartbeat then you have to have a D&C as well. Many women get pregnant after having a procedure like this done by choice or not.

A friend of mine had an abortion and just over a month later she was pregnat again!

I had an abortion 3 months ago and am now pregnant again and i am also keeping this one but it does not make me stop thinking about the abortion i had i mean i am happy but still and always will be thinking and feeling bad about my baby that i aborted.

My partner and I found out I was pregnant in 2001, after lengthy discussions we decided to abort our baby as we had only been together 5 months. i had a m/c in dec 04 at 10 1/2 weeks and after seeing things about abortion, people on tv murdering their children i was disgusted that someone could do that to an innocent child (i don't want to offend anyone) my b/f have been together for 2 years and i am now pg again 22 weeks with a girl, and i am still so worried that something is going to happen that will end this pregnancy. my best friend had an abortion at age 16 and then got pg again about 1 month later with her first son and again about 1 1/2 yrs with her second son, at that time i never thought anything about abortion it to me was a choice but now its more than that especially when your baby has a heartbeat. sorry if i offended anyone or hurt anyone i just want to express the feelings of someone that has lost a child when it wasn't my choice

How do you know you're pregnant again after you've had an abortion? I had an abortion about one month ago. I'm not sure if a pregnancy test would help because the doctor who took care of me told me it would be awhile for a test to be accurate again. Is anyone able to tell me how I would be able to know if I'm pregnant again? I'm scared that I might be and don't know what to do to find out. Thanks for you help.
