I was told that if you have sex with the father and he uses marijuana it could effect the child or the birth of the child is that true?

my husband smoked occasionally before and during my pregnancy and my daughter is perfect and healthy.

my husband smoked on and off during our whole pregnancy and there was no problem with our child - (I made him smoke outside though)

My husband uses marijuana frequently (only outside though, not around me), and my daughter was born perfectly healthy. She's five years old now and wonderfully bright and creative, so I really don't think the drug did anything to his sperm or to our baby.

It's also supposed to make you infertile, but this isn't the case with him, as we got pregnant recently the very first time we had unprotected sex!

A pregnant woman certainly shouldn't smoke it but I don't think it makes a big difference if the father does.
