As long as you are not bleeding or it doesn't cause discomfort work away at it. However, you may not feel like it in the first trimester, go with what you want. Good luck with the pregnancy! Same here. I have had sex from the first day I found out I was pregnant, and I am still having sex at 6 months. My Dr. told it was completely ok as long as I didnt have any major bleeding or cramping. Not to sound rude or anything at all so please dont take offence, But you might want to ask your Dr. about High risk pregnancy since you are 39. If your Dr. sees no problems going on then its completely fine to have sex up until the day youo give birth lol.
