My husband and I had sex a couple of days before I was expecting my period and I began bleeding. I thought that I got my period but the bleeding stopped immediately after sex and did not start again. I took a pregnancy test a few days later and it was positive. I am concerned that having sex may have caused a problem with the pregnancy since bleeding occurred. Can sex during the first few weeks of preganancy cause implantation to not occur and result in a miscarriage?

Not that I have heard. ( I am also not a DR.) But sometimes bleeding can occur during or after dex during pregnancy. Now, if it's enough that you have to wear a pad, and it lasts a while, and you have bad cramping...then you need to worry.

I would contact your doctor. I don't think sex can harm the baby because it is so well protected inside of you. If you bleed after sex, rest off your feet and it should stop. If not call dr.
