Can I Get Pregnant And Get My Period

hi im on birth control and i take it very carefully and i dont miss pills but im also on adoxa for acne and i know that can affect the birth control. me and my b/f had sex a little over a week ago with out a condom and he pulled out. i just got my period but i was wondering because we had sex only week beforei got my period is it too soon to tell if im pregnant and could i still get my period and be pregnant right now?

It may be possible that you might be right. Having sex a week before your period, there's a 50/50 chance that you could be pregnant. It all depends on how you ovulate. I would check with your doctor just to be on the safe side being that you are taking acne medication and that can be harmful for the baby.

yes it is possible to get your period if youre pregnant. a home pregnancy test is out of the question right now as in its still too soon but you could go to a clinic and get a blood test done which can detect a pregnancy right away.
