Getting Off Birth Control

How long after coming off birth control pills can you become pregnant? i've been on the pill for 6 years, and i have been off of it for almost a month and a half. Is there a higher risk of miscarriage becoming pregnant straight off of birth control? Thanks :)

Some women experience increased fertility right as they come off the pill -- others experience decreased fertility and may find it takes a few cycles for their fertility to get back to normal. In either case, there's no increased chance of miscarriage that I've heard of.
