Tanning And Late Period.

I have recently went to a tanning bed, in which i was on the last day of my period, and then went a few more times. and now my period is 5 days late. could tanning be the reason?
i have been tanning before and ended up getting a bladder infection from it.
Also i have been sexually active, and have been using the "pull-out" method. My preg. test was negative both times i took it, and im almost positive that the males sperm couldnt have been strong enough (do to medical reasons).
So my question is, did i miss a period because of stress, tanning, or what?

well pull out method isn't reliable, trust me. its like only 65% effective or something. preg. tests can take a while to detect the preg. hormone in some people. periods can definatly be late from stress but i'm not sure how tanning would effect your period but i don't tan so i woldn't know. good luck
