Sounds yummy, I'll try it. I have a super easy shish kebab thats impressive to serve. Buy a bag of easy peel large or jumbo shrimp. A package of skinless, boneless chicken breasts, a botte of honey teriyaki sauce, a can of sliced pineapple and unsweetened shredded coconut. Soak wooden skewers for 10 mins, peel shrimp while skewers are soaking. Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes. Cut pineapple slices in quarters. Skewer all three then brush w/ sauce. BBQ on middle rack on low heat until chicken is fully cooked, occassionally brushing with sauce. Toast coconut in a pan until golden put on platter. Put shish kebabs on top and drizzle with sauce. |
