for cm to remain the exact same in texture, consistency, etc....throughout the entire cycle? The reason I ask is because I believe this is what I've been experiencing. Anyone else??

AND also..today I am at cd15. My last few cycles have ranged from 34, 31, 32 & 26..with such varying days, when do you think I should expect this cycle's AF?? Thanks in advance ladies.

Trying, what consistency and texture is your CM? How are you determining this? eg are you checking inside or just from tp? Honestly there is no way to predict your CD's... I hope it regulates for you. Did you recently get of bcps or another hormonal type of birth control?

hi krissy..well I check cm inside as well as the discharge found on my undies. Both are usually a milky/lotiony consistency throughout my entire cycle. Strange isn't it? And the only time I actually notice a difference is after getting excited/cumming..my cm is more clear in consistency and very stretchy, which I know is not my actual cm but "cum". What do you think? And I've been off bcp's for a while now....

Your CM needs to change b/c the sperm need that ewcm (egg white cm) to help them with mobility and to keep them from dieing to quickly (they can only live for a few days if the conditions in your body are right otherwise they die fast). The ewcm also has ferning (sp?) that occurs to it too. This helps provide the sperm with a "pathway" up to the uterus. If you are sure that you are seeing all of your cm, know for sure what you are looking for, and are not possibly missing seeing some of it than you may need to get it checked out. It is easy for them to give you things to help increase your CM, but you may want to make sure that you are actually ovulation. The ewcm is caused by the same hormonal changes that cause you to ovulate so not seeing it may indicate a problem with the ovulation. Also can I suggest that you try for a bit just checking CM that is found on your toilet paper (TP). This may help make it a bit easier to “see” what you’re looking for. Before you pee (or get in water) wipe and look at the TP to make sure there isn’t any CM on it, also after you pee check the paper. If you see CM on the TP at any time check to see if it is stretchy (1 inch or more) or clear. Ovulation type CM should be stretchy and clear (like egg whites). It is possible to not always see the CM on the TP so also pay attention to how it feels when you wipe. If it feels really lubricative (like lotion that isn’t rubbed in) then this can also mean ovulation type CM. At the end of the day also bear down (like you need to have a bowl movement) as this helps to “push” any CM that is at the entrance of the vagina out where you’ll be able to see it on the TP. If your ttc and you see ovulation CM than you should bd any day you see it plus 3 more days after the last day that you see the CM. This helps insure that you actually hit the day and time when you release the egg (the egg being released varies a bit from cycle to cycle and it may occur when you see ewcm but it can also occur up to a couple days latter). What it described is the Creighton Model of Fertility (www.creightonmodel.com) and my dh and I have used it for 2 yr as birth control and than to get pregnant the 1st cycle we tried twice (m/c both of those). We then got pregnant the 2nd cycle we tried with this current pregnancy. Not trying to promote anything but it has really helped us know what we were looking for and to get pregnant. Hope the info helps some. Good luck.
