Thankyou for the replies.i do appreciate them.Looks like i was unlucky as it seems it was a dud test :(
The line went away after about 15-20 mins.i called the helpline and they told me that i should count it as a negative because a true positive should stay there.I am now 3 weeks late and they are sending me a free one in the post.I would have thought that because of the pink line it would have picked up HCG...who knows....I have the docs in the morning so i am hoping he will be able to shed some light on things for me.

Jayneuk, I am curious to know how it went at your Dr. appointment. I have never had a test show any kind of line unless I was pregnant, but the line always did stay there.

Hi kimberly.Felt like i wasted my time at the docs as she was not at all helpful.I explained about the test,how i feel etc but she just didnt seem interested.!! i even asked her for a scan to see if anything could be wrong as to why i have not had a period for almost 2 months but she said no.She told me that they wouldnt do anything until i missed between 6-12.?????? She is not my usual doctor(i am glad she isnt)so i will make an appointment to see my own as soon as i can.
