By the way girls, thanks for putting up with my long posts! Holy cow I didn't know I was going on that long!!

mg - March 23rd, 2006 8:11 PM

I have been having terrible ovary pain the last two days, so I went to the OB for a scan, and the reason is I have THREE HUGE Follicles, one is 30mm, other is 22mm, and the last is 20mm! And I still have a couple days before I O! My ovary is like twice the size it should be right now from the little fellows! She pretty sure I will release 2 if not 3. OMG. I am still in pain. This is the second day in a row I have had a dream about a baby, may this is a sign!!

Bing - March 23rd, 2006 8:19 PM

Dancegirl - I bet anything you're going to O on Saturday. It sounds exactly like my schedule...

Bing - March 23rd, 2006 9:18 PM

mg - That is AWESOME!!! Those are huge! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! Get busy bd'ing the next few days!!! The follies are uncomfortable aren't they? I've felt so bloated and crampy the last couple days and I figure it's because of the Clomid. Well....I did the injection....it was not good. DH is pissed right now because he had to give it to me (I hate needles) and the minute he finished with it I passed out on him. It scared the holy cr@p out of him! I forewarned him! I also told the doctor my fear of needles. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this cycle ends in a bfp because I don't think I can put dh through that again! He was 2 seconds away from dialing 911! Oops!

mg - March 23rd, 2006 9:25 PM

So if I have three very large follicles does that mean I am at a very high risk for multiples (babies)

Bing - March 23rd, 2006 9:29 PM

mg- I think just being on Clomid increases your chances of multiples, with the most common case being twins. So I would say it's definitely a possibility. My RE warned me about the possibility of twins when she prescribed the medication. She didn't say it would definitely happen - but rather that it is a risk that has been known to happen. I don't think I mentioned to her that there are twins in our family...hmmmm, I probably should have! At least you know you have three eggs that may get the job done!!!

SJF - March 24th, 2006 12:26 AM

Bing- I have been trying to concieve for over a year and a half now. I was told by my doctor that you have at least a 10% chance that you could have twins or more. So it's not that much of a risk, unless it does run in your family. If I passed out on my dh I bet he would have done the same thing. I don't like needles either, but I won't faint when I see one thank goodness. what kind of a shot was it? I wish I could tell when I am having the big O, it is very hard for me to tell. Does the robitussin really help with the cm, and does it counter act the effect of clomid? I have read about the whole robitussin thing and I forgot to ask my doctor about it. Right now I am on cd23. I really am praying that I don't have to go into anymore tests or stress about it and that it just happens. Since this is my third round of clomid, I think I am going to take a break next month and let my body rest and see what happens. Also I will check with my doctor and see what she says to. I really pray that I won't have to do any of those last two things I mentioned, b/c I pray I am prego. I pray that we all get prego this month around and that we all can just relax and let the next nine months take it's course and we all have healthy babies by Christmas time. I would be a great X-mas present to us all Baby dust to all! May God be with us all!

Bing - March 24th, 2006 7:22 AM

Hey SJF - yeah, I'm not too worried about the twins things since it doesn't seem to be a really huge risk. I think they just have to tell you there is a risk so you don't come back later and say "why didn't you tell me?" As far as the shot, it was a prefilled syringe of Ovidrel, which I think it pretty much an hCG shot. I think it's suppose to "trigger" you to ovulate...that way they can time everything more accurately when they do the IUI. I'm usually o.k. when a nurse/doctor does a shot (not that I like it still), but my poor dh is NOT a nurse so he kept fumbling in the beginning when trying to get it in and I just DID NOT react great to that! I really didn't think I would faint but he really freaked me out! I can't believe the doctors leave it up to you to inject yourself if you hate needles! As far as the Robitussin, the one time that I tried it I could tell it was definitely working! I had tons of ewcm. Make sure you only use the one that has just Guafinesin in it as the only active ingredient. I understand the anxiety and frustration - I always thought it would happen sooner than this and I wouldn't be going through all these tests, etc. but I finally decided that it seems to be out of my control. I know I'll be devastated if it doesn't work again this cycle, but I think it's a good idea to take a break and put it to the side for a while so you can regain your sanity. I plan on doing the same thing if I don't get pg in the next 3 cycles. But..we have to stay positive!!! It's gotta happen sometime, right?! Are you using opk's to detect your lh surge? That might help in determining when you'll ovulate. I know our RE told us that starting at CD 10, to start bd'ing- do 2 days in a row, but never over 4 in row (it's apparently good to skip a day) - do the day of O and the day after. This was a lot more doable than bd'ing 8 days in a row!!! Just keep positive and we'll get each other through this! Definitely ask your doctor what your next options are and be ready to ask a lot of questions so they know you've done your homework! :) Have a good day girls! Hope everyone is hanging in there! Mg- hope the ovary pain isn't as bad today...but hopefully it'll be worth it! Dancegirl - this is our weekend! Keep your fingers crossed! Anna B. - the next week will go faster than you know it and it'll be O-time!!

mg - March 24th, 2006 7:42 AM

Well so far the pain is not to bad, since I only have one ovary I just get SOO scared that something will happen to it. She said that since it is so enlarged I just need to make sure I dont twist it or anything. So I am just going to take it easy, and see what happens. Our bedding cycle starts today and will go everyother day for the next 7 days. Yippy!! My DH calls me yesterday, and is like did she tell us which days to have sex?? So I told him hes like ok lets mark it on the calander so we dont forget. He is such a big weirdo.LOL

Anna B. - March 24th, 2006 9:06 AM

Good morning! I feel like I missed out on all the chatting at the end of yesterday! Everyone sounds like they are doing really well. I'm still in the boring stage with nothing to report but you girls are getting me excited - at least one of us has to get pregnant this month, right?!?!? I'm afraid I'll end up ovulating next Saturday which means that I couldn't do the post coital test. DH said he'll give a sample in a cup though so hopefully he'll do his part! I wish my doctor was testing to see my follicles - it's so neat that you know how big they are and how many. I just feel like I'm going along without a clue what's going on and just hoping that everything works. I'd better get to work. TGIF!!!

SJF - March 24th, 2006 10:05 AM

I was looking at my temp. chart this morning and I am on cd26. Last night I told you cd23 which was the date, sorry about that. I normally have a 28day cycle. So I will probably know by the beginning of next week sometime. Does anyone really trust the accuracy of the temp. charting thing. I kind of don't b/ c if you take your temp. at different times of the morning you really don't get an accurate reading with your body. Does any one chart at the same time every day? And is it pretty accurate. I'm a nanny and I have to get up really early M-Th and then I sleep in on Friday - Sun. Get what I mean. I really pray that I am. I really hope everyone has a great day to!

tonia - March 24th, 2006 12:33 PM

Good Morning girls! I can feel the excitement and luck in the air this month! I am on CD 17 and i finally got a positive opk last night! Also lots of EWCM too. My DH was tired and grumpy but I still managed to get what I needed ; ) I am hoping we get lucky this month, because my doctors office just called me with my surgery schedule for next month! I have to get a small polyp removed from my uterus. ; ( But i did read that the chances of concieving in the first month ofter polypectomy is doubled! So some good news there! I just hope we get our BFP this month so I don't have to worry about going through this surgery at all! So it looks like I will O today right, cause I got the positive opk last night? Does this mean we will all pretty much be in the 2ww together? : )

nicole nelson - March 24th, 2006 1:16 PM

I just want to say good luck to everyone. This time sort of sounds promising doesn't it. Maybe one of us will end up prego by the end of the month or next month.

cp - March 24th, 2006 1:58 PM

Hi everyone my doctor told me that if i did not get preg this cycle then i will have to start taking clomid on the next cycle. i go for the blood test on mon. day i will probably find out on tues. day or wed. i would like to stay in touch with all of you, i have been looking for a clomid club, i'm glad i found it.

nicole nelson - March 24th, 2006 2:01 PM
