hi ladies ! well went to RE this morning and clomid did nothing. so now instead of doing provera, he said to take clomid again right now. thank god b/c i hated the provera. it made me so tired. so today and tomorrow i take 200 mg and then the next 3 days take 150. crazy huh ? so i won't have to wait another 17 days to start clomid again. i guess b/c my lining was very thin still so i didn' have to shed it first. woo hoo ! so now i'm realy wondering about the hot flashes on such a high dose. i was having crazy hot flashes last night and that was 5 days after my last pill. anna, exciting fo ryou huh ? sounds like positive signs ! yes, i write down every symptom b/c i know i'll rethink everything and it's good to have a reference of symptoms from previous months. yes, from what i was told about what day to take clomid on, my doc said the later you take the less follicles you will have (less chance for multiples) but they will be more viable. the earlier you take it the more follicles you have and some may not be viable...... hope that helps ! i was tking mine days 7-11 which i was happy with. but now i don't know what day this is considered now......... interesting :-) keep me posted on all signs !

Kristina - glad you could start clomid right away. Let me know how the symptoms go - hope the hot flashes aren't too bad. I just want the days to pass by quick this week so I know one way or the other. I really hope it's this month but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I hope I get my progesterone results back from the lab today but I probably won't hear back until tomorrow. I'm so impatient!!!

Happy Monday everyone! My weekend was great! I am on CD6 and clomid day 4 of 100mg.......I had HOT FLASHES like crazy last night, cold sweats, and I thought I had some visual disturbance too? Like there were fine hairs waving in front of my face? Anybody else had this happen? I have an HSG tomorrow morning, this will be interesting to see! Anna, have ever had your progesterone tested before?

Tonia - good luck with the HSG tomorrow. Yes, I had my progesterone tested last month and it was 17.3 which meant that I ovulated. I should get my results back by tomorrow for this cycle.

Hey there! My Doctor just prescribed an antibiotic for me to start taking before my HSG. Did anyone else have to do that? Does it interfere with fertility?

Good morning! My temp went down .3 to 98.3 so I’m afraid that AF is coming – but I’m only 9 dpo and AF isn’t suppose to come until Saturday so I’m a little confused. I wouldn’t think it would start this early. I have my appt today so I’ll find out for sure if I ovulated this month. I guess I’ll just see what my temps do in the morning – maybe they’ll go up again. Tonia, Nicole and Kristina – how’s everything going??? Any signs???

Good Morning. Nothing new over here. Just that I am getting sick or either getting over the sick. Last night I woke up and went to the bathroom and when I went to get off the toilet, I almost fainted. So I got off the floor and everything started spinning and trying to go black. I finally made it to back to my bed and then all the sudden I just threw up. I don't know what was wrong. I do know at about 5am I woke up with a fever. All I know is that I hope I don't get any worse.

hi tonia ! yes, i think that is common with the hsg. i didn't have it but i think b/c there is the risk of infection, they might prescribe an antiobiotic. but i don't beleive that will interfere with conception, but maybe double check wtih your doctor just in case or read up on th einternet. tonia, i also had the visual disturbances last night and that's exactly what it was like. little flashing hairlike lines........ and the hot flashes have kicked in for me too. i guess with the higher dose. at least we're not alone in the crazy reactions ! anna, don't worry, myabe it was implantation dip ? this would be around the right time..... you said 10 dpo was the longest your temp stayed high, right ? wait till tomorrow before panicking :-) all is well here.......... nicole, that sound awful !!!!!!!!!!! feeling any bette rnow ?

Nicole - I hope you are okay. That sounds awful! Take care of yourself. Kristina - I hope you are right about the implantation dip. I had thought about that but I'm not going to get my hopes up. My lower right side has been hurting since last night - not bad hurting but it feels like it is stretching or cramping or somethiing. I can't really describe it. I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what my temps do. Sorry you are having hot flashes - just think of the stories we can tell our kids about how much we went through because we wanted them soooo bad!

I feel better now thanks for asking. I think since I had that fever that it made it better.

Hi ladies! Well I survived the HSG! It was pretty neat actually. I feel a little crampy now, but all is well. Everything looks great for me in there. I took my last clomid today.....7dpo. The doctor told me that there is a 30% chance of getting pregnant right after an HSG because it actually flushes out your tubes! The dye they use has some detergents/acids in it. So keep your fingers crossed. Jared and I are going to do IUI this month, if he doesn't chicken out again! ; )

Good morning! I was at a conference yesterday and didn't have access to a computer. Yesterday I had spotting in the morning and in the evening but none this morning. Also, my temp went back up to 98.6 yesterday and today. I don't know what's going on anymore. I was about in tears last night when I saw the spotting. I just pray that some how it was implantation spotting but I'm not going to get my hopes up. How is everyone doing???

hey girls ! tonia, that's great ! i'm hoping if i can just ovulate that the hsg will help :-) i think we're gonna try the iui this time around too if i do ovulate. but we'll see...... anna, don't assume just yet. sounds like it could have been implantation. do you normally spot like that ? i don't spot at all. it comes right on...... and your temps staying up is good right ? when do they normally fall ? sat. is when af is due right ? how can you not test !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristina - AF is due Saturday. My temps have stayed high after the .3 drop on 9 dpo. I usually do not spot - it just hits full force. I'm so confused! I just wish I knew what my body was doing. What is an iui??? Are you done with the clomid this round???

anna, your dip and spotting conincide perfectly ! lets hope that's what it is !!!!!! an iui is artficial insemination to ensure the boys survive the trip :-) think it costs about $300. i have one more day tomorrow of 150 mg and then i'll be done with clomid for now. have another appt on wednesday to see if anything is happening but hopefully i'll have a better idea by then........who knows.
