I am 5-6 days past ovulation and have slight backache and lower abdominal cramping (for two days). My husband and i had sex last tues and expected to ovulate 9.30.09 and or 10.01.09. What are my chances that i could be pregnant? I am thinking it is too early to tell but could the backache and cramping be a sign?

It's a definite possibility. Watch carefully for any sign of implantation spotting in thenext day or two. Wait until a normal period is missing before testing with first morning pee. Repeat a week later if still in doubt. GL!

Thank you for the response. Again today I had twinges on the
right side of abdomen and lower backache. I felt like my
insides were being ripped apart or moving. Now it's
all a waitin game. I am anxious but don't want
to get my hopes up.

Did you experience runny nose & sore throat? I had yesterday with a bot of neasous feeling.
The only thing that i don't have is sore bbs but I
know everyone is diff. Are their other symptoms I
can look out for in the upcoming days. Any comments from
experienced moms are greatly appreciated. :)

As you said it is just to early to tell for sure. Your symptoms sound good, but unfortunately pms mimics pregnancy symptoms. You can try a early test about 12 dpo if you want, but it is more accurate to wait until a missed period.

You are correct but I dont get pms symptoms a week before af is due. the only symptoms i get is very light cramps the day before. the cramping i experienced were different from reg af cramps. my back is aching a lot today. i will take your advise and wait until missed period.

I am now 5 days late and no signs of af showing up. My cycles are regular and I havent missed af until now. I tested on 10/17 but got a negative. I dont know if that is because I took the test later in the day. I plan on testing again in a couple of days. I noticed last week for a few days i had a good amount of lotion cm. Any insite on this as i had already o'd on 10/30 or 11/01? I also recently have cold symptoms, constipation, gas, heartburn, etc. Has anyone had this same experience and was indeed pregnant.

Your signs continue to add up. You have not mentioned, lightheaded moments, smells and appetite, vivid dreams, acne, emotional (cries for no reason), veins showing more, Montgomery tubercles, but no matter. If you can't get a positive test using first morning pee by two weeks late, then the chances are that something else is out of whack. Good luck!

Yes, I have had times of lightheaded moments. Today seems to be one of the days where i notice it. I am tired more frequent and more hungry when i usually eat like a bird. My abdomen also feels fuller along with my bbs (however bbs are not sore). I have also noticed my mouth is dryer and get more thirsty. I do notice Montogomery tubercules but not that many. I plan on testing on 10/21, this will be 1 wk late. or should I wait until 2 wks?
