I am 7dpo and I have excessive thirst. Its not common with me. Water I am drinking just doesnt seem to be enough. Anyone else had this?

I'm not sure about it being a pregnancy symptom, but it's definitely the most common symptom for diabetes. It would probably be a good idea to get yourself checked out, especially if you have any diabetics in the family.

I had the same symptom at about the same time in my cycle (although for some reason I was extremely thirsty for milk). It was striking enough that I wondered about a possible connection, so I looked on the internet and found a few sites that listed increased thirst as an early sign of pregnancy--apparently you need a lot of fluid to increase blood supply. It said nothing about timing however, so I don't know if it would be too early to be related. I'm 14dpo today and no af but BFN using sensitive hpt, so I don't know what to think! Good luck!

I was really thirsty the week before my period was due. I drank so much water but I was still thirsty. I'm 5 weeks pregnant. I think it is a symptom for some people.

Me too, I found my eyes were drying out. I normally drink about 3 bottled waters per day before being pregnant, now at only a few weeks of pregnancy, I am up to 6 per day...so thirsty.

I was tremendously thirsty before I got my bfp. I was drinking water and iced tea like crazy. Not sure if it's a "true" sign, but it happened to me and I'm now 23 weeks. :o)
