HI LADIES. OK HERES THE DEAL.
I HAVEN'T HAD A PERIOD SINCE AUGUST 2008, THE REASON FOR THAT IS I WAS ON A BIRTH CONTROL SHOT FOR 6 MONTHS AND DIDNT KNOW THAT IT MAKES YOU IRREGULAR SO FOR 6 MORE MONTHS STILL NO PERIOD. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I START SPOTTING, I THOUGHT IT WAS MY PERIOD BUT IT WAS NEVER NOTHIN MORE THEN SPOTTING. I WOULD WEAR PANTIE LINERS CUZ I WOULD JUST BE WASTING PADS. SO I HAD THAT FOR ABOUT 8 DAYS AND IT STOPPED. ALONG WITH THE SPOTTING CAME CRAMPS AND BACKACHES. MY NIPPLES HAVE BEEN SORE FOR AWHILE NOW AND IM GOING TO THE BATHROOM MORE.

I AM CURRENTLY ATTENDING A TRADE SCHOOL TO BECOME A MEDICAL ASSISTANT AND LAST NIGHT I WAS IN CLASS AND MY CLASSMATES KNOW WHATS GOING ON.( WE'RE LIKE ONE BIG FAMILY WE TELL EACH OTHER EVERYTHING) ANYWAY ONE OF THEM SUGGESTED THAT WE DO AN ULTRASOUND TO SEE IF WE COULD SEE ANYTHING. SO WITH THAT I AGREED AND WAS SURE WE WOULDNT FIND ANYTHING! MY TEACHER WHO IS A DOCTOR GIVE ME THE ULTRASOUND AND TO OUR SURPRISE WE SAW A LITTLE BABY SHE SAID THAT I WAS ABOUT FOUR WEEKS ALONG. SO I TOOK A TEST LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING AND THEY BOTH CAME OUT NEGATIVE. MY QUESTION IS COULD IT BE TO EARLY TO TEST OR IS MY HCG LEVELS ALL SCREWED UP? HELP

If you guys actually saw a baby, with a heartbeat and all, then i guess you are pregnant although you would be further than 4 weeks. Usually at 4 weeks along, which is really early, it's almost impossible to see anything on u/s, especially if it's done abdomally, which i assume is what happened. Regardless yes a hpt should be comming back positive, but there have been cases for some women where they don't and i wonder if being on the shot has anything to do with it. If you haven't already call your doctor's office and make an appointment to be seen. Good luck.
