Period OR Implantation Bleeding ?

I should be starting my period any day now so when I woke up this morning and realized that I was bleeding I didnt think anything of it. As the day went on I realized that I am not having my normal period. I usually have terrible cramps, some what heavy bleeding, my back and legs tend to hurt, and my breasts will usually feel sore. The only symptom I do have is cramping but it is mild....I am not bleeding heavily and the blood will go from dark to light. Isnt very much either. I dont know what it could be ?! any ideas :( thank you
