Hi Everyone,

I'm reallly desperate for some advice and hope that you ladies can help.

My last period started September 24th and while after that I noticed that I had very sore tender breasts. I have never experienced this before and commented to my boyfriend that the pain was making me scared. He suggested that I could be pregnant, which had never occured to me. When I visited some of the sites I realized that I had a lot of the symptoms (headache, bloating, fatigue, high temperature, and even light headedness) but since this was so close to my last period (about two weeks later) I was sure this was impossible. About a week after this (3 weeks after my last period) I started to feel light cramps which continue until today. Today I noticed some very light pink bleeding. I should mention that ever since I started my period I have always suffered from very painful cramps to the point where I take prescription pain medicine, but today when the cramps started, 2 regular strength ibuprofen took away the pain. I also bleed very heavily on my period and have never had anything this light. It's not even worth wearing a tampon, just a panty liner. I have read about implantation bleeding, but the timing seems off (since it's almost on the exact date of when my period should have been due) I thought this would be unlikely.

I just don't know what to think as I have all of the early pregnancy symptoms and now changes to what I think is my period. Has anyone experienced a situation or implantation bleeding that is similar to this? Is it possible that I've had a chemical pregnancy? I should mention that I did take a pregnancy test 3 days ago and it was negative but I'm not sure if it was too early. I would visit a doctor but I'm in a foreign country and don't have coverage for health care so was wondering if I could get some help here first.

Thank you and sorry for all of the TMI details.

I forgot to mention that I have been (and still am) experiencing lower back pain with the cramps which is not a typical pms sign for me either.

Just want to provide as much info as possible in case someone else can relate.

Thanks again. :)

OMG!!!! My last period started on the same day as yours! I have had the exact same things today!!! Wow, its kind nice for me to see someone in the exact same place... literally!!!
I am due for my period today and if my period does not start by Saturday or Sunday then I plan on testing to be sure.
Also I have had some clear like discharge all day. Have you had this? My sister and I have spoke and she said her pregnancy started this way.
I hope teh best for you as well as I do for myself! Keep me posted!!

I failed to mention that I also did a test on tuesday and it also was negative. My doc said it is very possible that the hcg levels are just not high enough to be noticed. He suggested waiting til at least 2-3 days after my missed period!

Wow! i can't believe you're having the exact same symptoms as me. That's incredible. :) Well last night I had a bit more cramping while I was sleeping and I did notice a bit more blood like a light period, but when I woke up this morning it seems to have totally stopped, although I am still feeling some cramping. Again the cramping is nothing like my normal cramps (it's mainly on my left side and much less instense) and my usual period lasts for 4-5 days so for it to stop after just 12 hours would be very strange.

Some of the women on here have said that they've had very similar bleeding and although they had been told that it couldn't be implantation bleeding because of the color and the fact that it wasn't just spotting, but that it was because they turned out to be pregnant. I'm sorry if this is TMI, but as I said the colour started off a bit brown, then a little pink (like cotton candy) and then a very dark red, but not bright red like a normal period.

I will keep you posted if it turns into a regular period. As far as symptoms, my breasts are still tender, but no more shooting pains on the sides. My lower back hurts and I've lost my appetite.

Please let me know how things are going for you two. I hope you get a good result! I feel like it's probably all in my head but I know that something's off with my body and there has to be a reason. :)

Oh and regarding the clear discharge, I had that the day before yesterday (Wednesday) and then early on Thursday before I noticed the light pink bleeding.

Crazy!!! It is so weird findinf someone who is literally on the same day track as me!

Well I still have no period. Now yesterday when I would wipe (tmi I know) it was kinda orangeish for a little bit of the day and then nothing. I have been still having a slight discharge. I spoke with my sister who just had a baby and she said her pregnancy started hust like it.....No period but a slight discharge instead.
As well as all this I have been gettng really tired sperts in the last couple days. I mean I am always tired because of running after my two girls but this is a tired I have not been able to ignore. Very unusual.
I am testing tomorrow morning, at the latest!
If your period does not start in ful by then you should too. If you are pregnant your body may be just flushing out what was supposed to be implantation blood. I have heard that the first month sometimes still lightly flushes. Mind you I dont know how true that is!

Well I tested today and .... POSITIVE!!! I am so excited! I cant wait! I am hoping for a little boy as I already have two girls!
I have many symptoms but I feel amazing!!!

Hoping the best for you as well!

Oh I'm so happy for you! Congratulations. I will probably test tomorrow. I'll let you know.

Take care! xx

Have you tested? What is the result? Keep me posted!

Imadreamer - November 1st, 2009 4:58 PM

Hey :) I've been too terrified to test again b/c of the 3 negative tests but I'm going to try again tomorrow. I know that I must be pregnant. My lower back is still killing me, I have ZERO energy, my breasts are covered in these veins and are so sore, headaches, nausea, and this new thing that I've noticed is that I can feel my pulse in my stomach, really strongly. I kept thinking i was going crazy so I put my laptop on it and my boyfriend watched it move up and down in time with my heart. We looked it up online and a bunch of other women noticed that too and they said the doctors say it's the blood being pumped to the placenta. If I don't get a positive tomorrow I'm going to wait to see if I miss my next period b/c I can't really afford the doctor's visits (I'm out of the country at the moment and don't have healthcare in England). I'll let you know how the test goes tomorrow. How's everything going with your pregnancy? Did you find out how far along you are?

Good idea test again if you still have not got a period, sometimes the hormone does not show till a little later.
I am good, we are just in the 6th week, I have many of the same symptoms but I have found it easier to deal as this is my third pregnancy. I am already having a hard time doing up my pants but have read that that is common in third and so on pregnancies, as the body is already stretched adn already knows what it needs to do for the baby.
Test again and keep me posted!
