You said he has been home for 3 weeks and you had a period a week after he came home, so that means it has been 2 weeks since your last period? If so you are probably just now ovulating, it is possible that some sperm is left from the sex you had and it could fertilize a egg now that you could be ovulating, but you would just now be concieving so way to early to test and way to early for any signs.

The time line is not clear - maybe your 3 weeks of daily sex started when your period ended. If your last period started at the very beginning of August and another is due right soon, then you could indeed be experiencing early signs of pregnancy. What signs do you have other than smells, headaches and back pain? Test when late using first morning pee. Good luck!
