Short Luteal Phase, Anyone???

I have had fertility issues in the past, although a short luteal phase was not one of my issue, I read so much about fertility that I also read alot about the luteal phase. I wouldn't be too concerned just yet. How long have you been trying? If you just started there is no way to tell if this will affect your ability to concieve yet. I think adding B6 supplement would be a good idea. I have also read it helps to promote a longer Luteal Phase. It couldn't hurt. If I remember right most sites says that 10 days is long enough...anyway you are right on the border of maybe having a issue. Good Luck! |

Hipchick, you should also read about Vitex, it helps lenghten the Luteul Phase too. |

Well, I wanted to follow up on my original post and say that after taking vitamin B6 (100mg) for ONE cycle, I now have my BFP! So, if any of you ladies have discovered you also have too short of a time between ovulation and AF, try it! Worked for me :-) Well, OK so this wasn’t exactly a scientific study, but it can’t hurt!!! |
