it was way shorter than my period they are usually around the same time and now i have been sick and nauseous so i dunno whats going on

Pincess, how about some of the other early pregnancy signs - tired, wet, peeing more, dreams, lightheaded, emotional, boob and nip changes, backache, upset gut, heartburn, smells, appetite etc. It's not clear how your unprotected sex related timewise to your normal period time, and you do not say if you had sexual contact at other times during the cycle. Sounds like it is time to test. GL!
