If you appear to have a normal cycle and 'proper' periods, does that generally mean that you are still ovulating and therefore fertile???

I am not an expert but I have read on this forum yuou can get your period every month and not ovulate at all. My Dr. does not think I ovulate every month and I still get periods every month.

I just had this conversation with my doctor because I'm having a problem getting pregnant - I was getting my periods but they were only lasting 1 day maybe 2 - she said I can have my period and not ovulate (anovulatory I believe is what it's called) she said she was more concerned with af only lasting 1 or 2 days and ran some blood to test my eggs - she said everything is perfect - you should ask your doctor to run some blood work on you to be sure you have enough egg supply - then I would inquire about clomid.
