If conception occurred, implantation (when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall) typically happens seven to ten days after ovulation, but it can happen a few days earlier or later as well.
There are some signs of implantation or successful conception that may be seen on your chart but all of them can occur with or without pregnancy. You can also be pregnant and see none of these signs on your chart. There is thus really no way to know if they are related to implantation while they are happening, though they occur with greater frequency on pregnancy charts. Some possible signs of implantation or successful conception are:
light spotting that happens for just a brief period of time around seven to ten days past ovulation.
a second thermal shift that occurs around seven to ten days past ovulation.
a dip in temperature that lasts just a single day, around seven to ten days past ovulation.

Hi r, thank you, i think i had inplantation bleeding. because when i wipe i see a little red almost pinkish stuff on tissue. And today i am 9 dpo, I have been charting my temp and today i had a dip from the temp that had been high. Do you think that this was inplantation time. I have also got some of the reflux or heartburn that only ever came before when i was pregnant with my son.

implantation generally only happens after seven days because it will not reach the uterus in less time than that

Sorry but lisi is right. My dad is an ob and he told me the chances of you conceiving on the day you ovulate is slim. Most women ovulate then a day after the egg is fertilized. The fertilized egg then needs to travel quite a distance to the uterus. The soonest he said this can happen is 3-4 days since it has to be pushed by villi in the tubes into the uterus. Once the uterus is reached it then takes the egg another day or so to impant. The blood shed does not immediately travel to the cerix/vagina. so in therory, sorry, it is impossible to have ib or even strong symptoms five days past o. Some women do get early smyptoms, such as fatigue and heartburn, but this is from elevated progesterone and can happen before AF.

hi anon yes i have been ttc for about 15 months now and im not pg i skipped a period so it was very confusing
