Opk As Hpt???

i am 3 days away from af and i think im pregnant. i have opks and have been taking one every day they were gradually getting darker and today the test line was twice as dark as the control line. Tool an hpt and neg but im still not past af due day. What do you think pg?

I have heard of using a opk as a hpt, but I really don't see how it would work. A hpt test for the hcg hormone and a opk test for the lh surge. They test for two very different things. Who knows. It has been a few days did you retest?
