Strange Bleeding

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about two months now without success. However, this month I've been having strange cramping in my lower abdomin and a bloated feeling. I was also three days late. last night I went to the bathroom and noticed I had bleed a very thick amount of blood (not a lot, just thick) It had no dilution or texture other than just very thick bright colored blood, almost like I had cut myself. However, now I'm only bleeding a very small amount which is very unusual for me. Im wondering if theres a possibility that this could be implantation bleeding and if it is, why are the test negative? Has anyone else experienced this?? help!!

Three months of trying is average. maybe you have got lucky this time, and remember there are some who do not get a positive test until a couple of weeks "late". Do you have no other signs aoart from a weird bleed and odd cramps? How about fatigue, peeing more, heavier boobs, sensitive nips, dreams, upset gut, emotions, lightheaded moments, backache, acne, appetite and smell changes, runny nose all where different from normal PMS? Test again when a week has passed, using first morning pee. GL!

Well now I'm spotting a little and its brown. I've been having a lot of cramping, backaches, bloating, nausea, headaches and changes in appetite even though I'm hungry less rather than more

I hear it is possible to have implantation after a missed period. I'm also wondering since I've been TTC and went through heavy cramping for over a week before my period was due, unlike my period cramping. Then today I noticed light browish blood when I went pee so I'm not sure what that can be. Way lighter then a normal period and my actual period was due a few days ago. Not sure if it's a late period which is very abnormal or later implantation.
