I know the main one is cm...and sometimes cramping. But what are other ones? Can gas be one? Or nausea? Thanks for any answers!!

Never heard of gas or nausea to be a symtom of ovulation, pregnancy yes but not ovulation. Cm is the biggest sign of ovulation and not all women but some will feel ovulation, cramping, or sharp pain. Those are the only real obvious signs, your cm will be stretcy. If you chart your temps you will notice a rise in temp.

thanks Kim!! I ask because I woke up this morning and I felt almost... well.... the best way to describe it would be like a mild hangover, kinda felt weird. I couldn't eat my pop tart it tasted like eating chalk. And I have been super gassy since last night. I am NEVER gassy. Not to be gross ... it feels like internal farts and like my stomach growling but it is down low.

Kim, maybe you can help me then. I posted on General Pregnancy Questions but I just saw this.

I've been trying to conceive since 10/04 - had an eptopic in May and dye test in June - tubes were saved and they looked great after HSG test. I don't chart my temps because I know myself and I jump out of bed with the alarm and I know I'd forget - anyway we failed to conceive in June so in July I bought an OPK. It was +++++ and dh and I bd. It didn't work. No signs of CM that month so doctor said maybe anovulatory af. My last period was August 9th and I run 30-31 days since surgery - last night I got home from work and had a huge clump of ewcm - stretchy/clump. Did the OPK and it was ---- tried it again this morning and that was ---. Is this clump of ewcm a sign of O? My coworker said it means the end of my O. I thought it meant that I was O and that me and dh should bd which we did. I had some mild cramping too. Can you tell me if you think I am O?

Jenn, that does sound like the end of O, or close to your period. When it is clumpy and stretchy, that is non-fertile cm. In order the sperm to get where they need to go, it will be watery or thin clear, eggwhite type stuff. Hope this helps

Chas; I went on Babycenter.com and did a 5 day window frame for Ovulation according to my 30 day cycle and it said August 20-25 and we bd on the 21st and the 24th so hopefully that works. I think it would be impossible for the ewcm to be a sign of af coming since I'm not due for that until 9/7. We shall see come Sept.

Jenn, when you ovulate it should be smooth, lotiony and should strech when you pull your fingers apart. Sounds like it may have been the end of ovulation, although I figured going by your last af that you should be ovulating today, Aug. 25th. Take another opk to see what it says.
