I have written a few posts in here, as i am now four months pregnant. This pregnancy was a complete surprise. Before i got the positive i applied for school and was accepted. This course (two years) is free as unemployment is paying for it!!! yah! I have wanted to take this particular course for years and am so excited. Well now.....i am pregnant and so either i go to school or not go. If i go than that means i go to college with this huge baby bump and it will be a l ittle embarrasing i think. I cannot defer this college for another year, its now or never! also i probably can only be able to take a few weeks off when the baby is born. Has anyone out there done this same thing? I hope when i go i see someone else preggo but i doubt it. If you have done the same thing or know anyone else that has can you tell me if they found it next to impossible?
I am a single mom of a four year old as well so i know its going to be pretty tough but thsi is my future and i want to provide well for my children and i want them to be proud of me.
anyway, thanks.

Hey Babyb. I am in some what the same perdictament. I am only 2 months pregnant, and also begin University in September. I'm very very worried about being 8 months pregnant when I write my final exams and having to walk around campus in the maintime. Although this is my first child, I don't have any others. The way I see it though, is at least in the end we'll have a carrer to support our children with, and as they get older, you get to tell them the hard work and determination you went through with the carrer you would currently have, rather than some "just get you by for now", job.

Yes, what i believe we are doing is the best thing too. But, just like you i feel embarrassed walking around the college when i am about to pop. But a career that will make me happy is what i am after. good luck to you!
