My partner believes I fell pregnant on purpose. He is avoiding the subject completely and treats me with little respect. He says I have betrayed him by falling pregnant. He feels his life is over and can't do the things he planned. I now want to go home to my home country to be with my family. Is this unfair of me? I feel its best for the baby. I have no other support system where I am now.

Your being pregnant is just as much his fault as it yours, assuming you you got pregnat in the conventional way. He is being totally unreasonable and a bit selfish. Things never go as smoothly as we would like and plans can be changed. This is a time when you need as much support as you can get, especially from your partner. Chances are he may come around, in the meantime I would definitely consder being in a place where people were supportive. If that happens to be away from him, then so be it!

Th exact thing happened to me.
I went back home.
It hurts, but theres nothing to gain wtih him. Go to your family and start ur life over with your new baby.
