I had my daughter 5 wks ago. The father is married but was seperated from his wife when we were together. Him and his wife got back together when I was 6 wks pregnant. He did not have any contact with me while I was pregnant except for a few letters. I called him when I had her and him, his wife and his other kids came up to the hospital to see her both days we were there and I went to there house once when she was 2 weeks old. Now he wants visitation ( 2 hours twice a week and 2 hours Sat. & Sun. everyother weekend). I do not want her to go without me because I do not trust him and I do not trust his wife because she is too nice. He says if I do not want to work with him he will go to Court. What should I do?

Hi Julie. I 'm not sure what you can do, I'm in pretty much the same situation as you and I have no idea what I'm going to do. The only difference is that the father of my baby wasn't married, instead he cheated on me with some other lady, when I found out, I broke up with him so now he's with this other lady. I know that he's going to want private visitation rights with our baby, and possibly have her during the weekends or something like that but the thing is, I do not trust this other woman because I have a feeling she'll try to claim my baby as hers. The reason why I say this is because I know she can't have children, but she's desperate to become a mother, especially with him. I don't like her and I don't trust her, therefore I don't want my baby around her. I too don't know what to do about this.
