Should I Stay With My Supposed 1-nite Stand?

I'm 26 and I just found out last week that I'm pregnant for the first time. The father and I said that we will try to make it as a family, but I don't trust him. He has 3 other children and I think that he will run out on me before I have the kid, or that he will just get someone else pregnant while we're together. I got pregnant off what I thought would be a one nite stand, and now I'm considering having a family with this man. I just want what's best for my child. Is that for me to try this on my own as a single mom, or give the family thing a try?
