I just joined this site because I have had three c-sections and one tummy tuck. My first little guy was nine pounds and eleven ounces and ripped my ab muscels completely. After cesearan number 3, my ob highly recommended the plastic surgery to repair my insides. I now have an umbilical hernia, I am not pregnant and have serious abdominal pain...
Running to different types of doctors including a hernia specialist who appreciates that I 'm terrified and reluctant to do another surgery. He's given me permission to wait a year until our next visit as it's a small hernia..and cannot guarantee that his surgery is the cause of the pain.
Gastro doctor said I have IBS and that I should do Milk of Magnesia every night and abdominal strengthening as my core muscles are kaput. I wear a 'binder
around my stomach to keep things in place...
Anyone out there who is not having any more babies but is suffering from too many c-sec and complications....
Does anyone know anything about scar tissue and can it be the cause of pain four years later?
Bracha, are you still out there? I'm interested in knowing how you're feeling after your babies and c -sections. My name is Bracha too, by the way...
