Hey everybody, I just joined here and it seems like you all have very good answers to give, so here goes.
I'm 18, not on birth control (for reasons), and my boy and I decided to start having sex at the end of February. We had unprotected sex then, the very last day of my period. Following that was spring break so there were a couple times that week, and then again the first week of April. All times after the first were with a condom and I don't THINK any of them broke. Here's the thing. The past three weeks or so I've felt funny. My stomach has felt weird, like I have a pressure in my lower abdomen, my back hurts some times, I feel nauseous, I'm exhausted all the time, my boobs are sore (but I don't find that TOO odd because I'm a runner my boobs are usually sore), I've been incredibly moody the past week or so. I woke up in the middle of the night with a screaming pain in my abdomen. It hurt so badly I was doubled up in pain but it passed after fifteen minutes or so.
I have an abdominal ultrasound scheduled for next week so hopefully that will tell me something but not if I'm pregnant because it's too soon...?

I'm so scared. I don't know what's wrong or if I'm pregnant or what. I can't be pregnant right now, I really can't... please help.

That abdomen pain doesn't sound like pregnancy but the rest of it does. You could still be pregnant but it sounds like there's another problem going on. You just have to wait for your ultrasound.

yeah pain i heard can be from having a cyst on your ovary but i don't know how sharp that pain would be. I also heard it can cause your body to think you are pregnant and that may be why you have some symptoms...but i am not sure i havn't had 1 personally...but good thing you have a doctors appt. hope everything goes well.

Have you missed a period yet? If yes than you can use a home pregnancy test, if not than it may be too soon with the ultrasound to dectect a pregnancy, usually they can't see anything until your at least 1 week past your period being due and even that is pushing it sometimes. But i'm a little confused, is your doctor ordering the ultrasound b/c they think you may be pregnant? Or b/c of the pain you were having? I don't know too many doctor's who order the ultrasound without doing a blood test first to confirm you are pregnant.

I have not missed a period yet. The doctor ordered an ultrasound because of the pain that I've been having. I've been having abdominal problems the past few months and she ordered the ultrasound before I started having sex so there was nothing to test for. I got used to the stomach issues and didn't think about getting the ultrasound until recently when the discomfort started getting more noticeable.
I mentioned last night that I woke up with screaming pain in my abdomen, and this morning I was bleeding very, very heavily and it was very dark with a couple of large clots. it's over a week early for my period, and cramps aren't usually this bad. My fiance thinks I might have miscarried. I don't know. I could take a test, and I think I will some time later, but we'll see how long the bleeding lasts and what the ultrasound says.

It sounds like it may be something else if it has been going on for months, but the bleeding and clots are a bit concerning. You should probably call your doctor in the morning an let them know what is going on and see what they recomend.
