I was expecting to experience morning sickness, but I wasn't prepared for this. I am nauseated on and off all day. I'm lucky if the smell of food alone doesn't repulse me to the point of avoidance. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be getting any better rather it would appear to be getting worse. I barely made it through my shift at work, ended up leaving an hour early to come home and nearly cry myself to sleep. There has to be something I can do. I'm quite hungry, but the sight and smell of food is so discouraging. I'm only 5 weeks pregnant, is there anything I can do to ease the morning sickness to a level where I can still function through my day?

Hey! When I was pregnant, I had the same problem. I was feeling so sick that I couldnt stand up out of bed. I started actually throwing up whenever I would take a bus or get into a car. I never got sick at home. I was sick in garbage cans and subway stations. Yes very embarrassing. My doctor at the time told me to take my vitamine before I go to sleep, and to force myself to eat non salted crackers all day long. I tried it and it worked. I munched on crackers in the morning right away even though I felt sick. It worked! I only felt sick at night time a little bit, but it managed to keep me good for the day. So I dunno, You can try it. Crackers or dry toast sholuld help. But you need to force yourself to eat it when you wake up. It should work.
