Hi all (posted this in infant care too, but this forum is always more active), my bubba girl is just over 7 months - I just wanted to know if I am feeding her enough? I recently put her on a routine and she seems very happy but just thought I would get opinions?
SO basically we follow the below routine:
7am - wake and booby feed - as much as she wants.
8am - breakfast - either fruit and cereal or baby jar food ie apple and oatmeal etc. She usually will eat 1/2 jar.
11am - booby feed - as much as she wants.
12pm - Lunch - either youghurt and fruit or veggies.
3pm - booby feed - as much as she wants.
5pm - dinner - either veggies or pasta and vegies with sauce.
6.30pm - booby feed - as much as she wants
At 7 she goes to bed and sleeps till 6.45 - 7 - she has only very recently started sleeping this well and I just worry that she has that 12 hour gap with no booby - do you think that routine is ok? Any advice would be great.
She hasnt put much weight on but the health nurse said she is a very healthy happy bub and not to worry.
Thansk ladies. :)

Absolutely, it sounds like she has a great eating schedule. Don't worry about how much weight she gains as long as she's eating well. Babies go up and down in their weight gain and sometimes, like in my daughter's situation, it's genetics. DD consistently gains about 5oz a month.
