Please think it over one more time. Some women have a much stronger mothering instinct than others, and evidently you are one. However, the same constraints apply. You put yourself and your children at risk of being second class citizens for a lifetime, struggling to make your way in the world without adequate financing and education. Would it not be fairer to your child to wait until a more propitious moment? GL! |

Honestly I know how you feel. My Fiance and I want to have kids to but I stop myself because of the chance of him having to go over seas in July. Truthfully I think you should wait until you graduate because if not you wont be able to get a good paying job and then you wont be able to give your baby everything that he or she wants or needs. It'll be very hard to raise a child with no money. |

See i have a good paying job and i'm some what already living on my own. i know we should wait but like idk i just can't wait. i had promised myself that i wouldn't till after high school but i'm not sure on how long i can wait anymore. i think about being a mom everyday like non stop. i think the reason why i want kids super bad is becuase i've raised so many kids growing since i was 15. i raised 2 out of the 4 of my sisters kids, i've raised some of my friends kids. i'm just a kid loving person and so is my soon to be hubby. i just don't think i can stand to wait any longer even though i know i should. =] |

Whoa, whoa, whoa, are you saying your bf is back on board with trying for a baby or are you planning on doing this alone? Keep in mind that someone will have to watch the baby while you work and daycare is very expensive, decent ones can cost up to $1000 a month. Also, and this is very important, are you covered by insurance? The average cost of having a baby is $6,000 to $8,000 and over $10,000 if it's a c-section. Even if you are covered under your parents insurance, it may not cover your pregnancy. If you have your own insurance through work call them and make sure they cover maternity and if they do, how much do they cover and what you will be responsible for. I'm not trying to burst your bubble or say that you are not ready, I just want you to make sure you have considered these things before you start trying. |

well so much for waiting till after high school...now i got the issue of maybe being pregnant, not sure what i'm doing anymore, my fiance got kicked out of his apartment because one of his friends trashed it. which makes this whole baby thing scary to me right now. he has till friday to move out and he's got no where to go. at the moment i'm waiting for my period to come. i want a baby but i don't want my baby to grow up without a stable home. i'm really scared cuz of the situation. |
