Recently a teen came to me telling me that she may be 1 week pregnant. She won't get any family/friend support if she goes to term. What can be done in the first 2 weeks to stop the pregnancy? What will the "Morning After" pill do? Suggestions?

First find out if she is really for sure pregnant...You should get her a professional to talk to and if she doesnt want to keep it then get her some info on abortions. Be there to support her she is probably under ALOT of stress!

well, the moring after pill can only be taken from 24 to 72 hrs after having unprotected sex, so she cant take it now. it will do her no good. that pill aborts the fetus that started to grow inside her. she has got to tell her parents somehow or another because if she doesnt, and she is for sure pregnant, she will not be gettin the right type of care that she needs to have a healthy baby, and to keep hersel healthy. she definalty needs to come clean with an adult she trusts, so they can help her get to the doctor.
