Coughing Snotty Stuff Up!

my daughter is getting a cold i think, but she might just teething im not for sure. shes got a runny nose but thats a sign of teething also;; but this morning she was crying she didnt sleep at all last night & i dont know whats wrong i think she was just gassy last night & tihs morning she was burping & farting alot but then she was sneezing & coughing & when she was coughing its almost like she was choking & shes spit up clearish white snotty stuff. is that good or bad can anyone help. shes 9 months old i dont know if i should take her to the doctor or let her go a day or so?!

well does she have a fever? take it if she doesnt have a fever you should be fine for awhile. Is she still eatting? how many wet diapers has she had if she is still having wet diapers she is not dehydrated. if you can run to walgreens or some place and get some saline spray and if you can get up there with a bulb syringe because then you can suck the snot out. if its just a cold i wouldnt take her in because there is nothing the doctors can give to her to get rid of it. But all you can do is make her comfortable as long as she is still drinking and having wet diapers she should be fine. But use your judgement if it seems like she needs to go in take her in

If she has a cold running a humidifier in her room can help with congestion. The saline and bulb help alot too, like maren said.
