Hello, I'm 18 and my gf and I had unprotected sex the 17th (2 days after her period) and she runs normally a 28 day cycles so I think that would put her due for her period around the 8th of next month. I have allot going on with college and stress of work (firefighter) and the anxiety of her possibly being pregnent is killing me, I know there is a possability but I just want to know the chances of her really being preggo... What's hard is every time I talk to her now she comes up with a new symptom of pregnancy like she almost is trying to get pregnent haha but I don't know how real her cramps or breast tenderness she says is. What do you think? She maybe fantasying the possability of being pregnent and seeing how i'd react or do you think there is a good chance she really is?? Thanks!

These things can prey on your mind. Your sex was early enough in her cycle that the chance of pregnancy is low, but not impossible. She would have had to ovulate several days early and/or your sperm would have to be extremely longlived. First sex can stimulate the hormones of a young woman to where she gets an upset cycle and signs of pregnancy. For right now give her a comforting hug and tell her it's all in her head. If and when her period is late, have a couple of home preg tests on hand to be used at one week intervals on first morning pee. Buy some condoms and vaginal spermicide when you go get the preg test!
