how old are you?? if you don't know periods maybe shouldn't have sex!!! your supose to get it once a month, get smart before you do any more sex stuff!!

Umm your freakin crazy, "what??" If you've had sex or not, all girls have questions about their periods, it's a whole new thing to learn about. She didn't even say she was having sex!! Maybe you should learn to read before posting on this column!!!
Honey, if you need answers about your period, maybe ask a friend or doctor, as you get older, you'll realize that you don't have to be embarassed about periods, ALL girls have them and go through the SAME thing your going through.
My periods were irregular the very first time I got it, not getting it could mean a number of things, your stressed, your diet has changed, you've been excersing more, or if you've had unprotected sex...your pregnant. If you got your period the first week of a month then didn't get it the next month, maybe the next month you get it, expect it to be the first week again or a bit after/before that. Sorry if I confused you...I tried to help hehe

Honey - its normal to be confused about this new change thats happening to you. First off a period normally comes every month. However in young girls it can be very irregular, meaning you can have it at a certian time in one month and then a different time the next month. sometimes you can even skip a month and not get a period. This is normal in young girls. Unless you are sexually active you should not be concerned about missing a period. However you should talk with your mom about this. Dont feel embarrased sweetie.... every woman goes through this. But your mom will be able to help ease some of your concerns and keep track of your periods, so that you can get help from a dr if you continue to be irregular. However, PLEASE be safe if you are having sex. Practice safe sex.... because you CAN get pregnant even if your periods arent regular.
