my boyfriend and I had sex a week ago using the withdrawl method. he did not go all the way inside of me (a little less than half way), and I have never had sex before this. we also used a piece of saran wrap to protect from pre-cum (stupid, I know). I am now worried that I may be pregnant. if he did not ejaculate in me, what are my chances of being pregnant?

Between the Saran Wrap and no ejaculation, the chances are pretty low. Was this close to ovulation, 14 days before your next period is supposed to start? You will be pregnant within a year if you continue without better preparation. One of you has to buy condoms and vaginal spermicide. Use Condom plus spermicide when in the fertile window, Condom alone is OK after ovulation has passed. Good luck!

my periods are irregular, ranging from 3 to 6 weeks in between but have been closer to 30 days for the past 3 months. it was 8 days after my last period. i know we have to find a better route about this, we talked about how this cannot happen again. in the moment we thought we were being smart, but i know for sure we were being reallyyy dumb... i just dont want this one mistake to turn into something life-changing. shoulda thought about that before though...i knoww.

Eight days after your period ends is really close to ovulation. That is also when your sex drive is highest (go figure). This would be a good time to learn your signs of ovulation - increased sex drive, cervix high and soft and open, mucus stretchy (raw egg white), and when you are actually trying to conceive it is nice to watch for the temperature jump of half a degree at ovulation, a certain sign.

so im guessing thats not such a good thing then? even though my periods are irregular do i still ovulate on the same day?

If you have an irregular cycle, knowing when ovulation occurs depends on recognizing the signs, since it is ovulation that triggers the next menstruation 14 days later. Sperm can last in you 5 days. You are probably a good candidate for hormone contraception "to regulate your cycle". Young people are not the best at remembering to take a pill regularly, so use condoms as well. Good luck!

so my period started on tuesday, and lasted 6 days. it is nearly over now, just light pink discharge, which is normal for me at the end of my period. my period was lighter this time, though. now normally my periods are pretty heavy, but my last period before this one started really light, then went heavier towards the end. this time it was more on the lighter side throughout the whole period, but it lasted six days. do you think i should be worried about being pregnant? i do not have any other signs of pregnancy...

You had very little exposure to start with, no early pregnancy signs, and a relatively normal period. The chance of pregnancy is vanishingly small, but you seem a bit obsessed about it, so take a test just to convince yourself. Dollar Store tests are within your budget. Good luck!
