YES!!! It only takes one time during your fertile period. A woman ovulates once a month about 14 days after the first day of your period. You are fetile about 3 days before ovulation and a day or two after ovulation. Sperm can live inside you for 3 to 5 days and it has been studied and they have even seen live sperm after 7 days. If you don't like the pill, then condoms can work great if put on properly. They are cheap and can be bought descretely too. They even have condoms in some men's bathrooms. Definately figure out a birth control that will work for you. Some women become pregnant really easy after getting off the pill. If you miss your period take a test.

Well, yes and no. There are other factors to consider such as when you ovulate, but overall, yes. Young people are very fertile, which is why there are so many stories of young girls getting pregnant even when taking their birth control regularly. It doesn't mean you ARE pregnant, but you need to protect yourself. You should have told your BF or used an alternate form of protection instead of secretly not taking your BCP. But there is nothing you can do about that now. Educate yourself on your body and take the appropriate measures. you said 3 weeks ago. Have you had a period? If not, take a test.

Well i havent gotten my period.. but i dont really remember when i last had my period, i know i had it when i was sick with the flu, which was b4 March 17th ecause my bf and i flew to Calgary to meet his parents and i didn't have it... can you get pregnant if you are't ovulating too.?

Unless you have been seen by a doctor who tells you otherwise, you DO ovulate. Birth control is supposed to suppress ovulation (of course, it doesn't ALWAYS work. Its only 99% effective), once you stop taking your birth control, your body will continue to cycle on its own. You'll either start a period or ovulate. -- Can you remember if you have you had a period since coming off of the birth control? If not, you should take a pregnancy test. If it comes out negative, wait another week and test again.

I went to the doctors, he said that there's a good chance i am, but to come back next friday..
