Today is my due date. While I am ready to have this kid, my pregnancy related issues are not really issues at all in light of this sickness that I have not been able to shake for the past week. I'm nauseous, have a horrible cold, and my head is pounding! I can't sleep because I can't take anything for my symptoms (not to mention my back pain from staying in bed so many hours!) and I feel like I am dying! I really wanted a natural birth, as I was able to do it with my daughter, but right now I scarcely have the strenght to get up out of a chair to pee much less deliver a child! Is anyone feeling this or has anyone been there?? I don't know if I should hope for labor so that I can get rid of some of the discomfort and finally take some drugs or if I should hope to postpone labor until I am feeling better!
