I originally didn't think so, but i am in my 37th week and am experiencing pain in one rib that feels like it is bruised or broken. Have you found any other answers.....in extreme pain..

I was wondering the same thing. I have had pain in my rib for two weeks that will not cease. The nurse thinks the baby is resting on a nerve, but the pain is persistent. Obviously an x-ray is out of the question.

Well, I'm not pregnant, but was twice. I, also, have this persistent pain in my left rib cage area, and it mainly is painful at night.

You could have a bruised rib. I have had that happen, it felt like I had broken a rib.
Although stranger things have happened. My SIL was suffering from a bad cough and actually broke a rib from coughing so hard.
