ColtonsMommy - I have been in a very similar situation. For the past month or so, my contractions have been really hard and for hours at a time and then they stop. 1 1/2 weeks ago, I woke up on Saturday night with contractions about 10 minutes apart. They decreased to 8 minutes and then 6 minutes and then 3 minutes apart over the next few hours. I thought for sure I was going into labor, but didn't want to wake my daughter and husband until it was time to go to the hospital. I eventually fell asleep timing them and when I woke up they were gone. I was really thinking that labor was close, but here I am 12 days later! I still get a lot of contractions, but nothing very consistent since then.
I wish I could tell you baby is on its way! With my daughter, it was so obvious, but with this one (my 2nd) I don't have a clue!

That happened to me for 2 weeks before I had my son. How far along are you? Good luck on your delivery. I know how frusterating it is when you just want to have your baby.

i am 37 weeks and yes it is frusterating thinking you are in labor and it turns out nothing. thanks and i hope you delivery goes smooth for you also. and this is my second also. and same with you. with my first i was sure i was in labor and with this one it is so unpredictible.

I know! It is frustrating. I am only 36 weeks, but I went 2.5 weeks early with my daughter, so I'm really thinking it coudl be anytime. The contractions seem to get really hard sometimes. And today I started to have diarreah, which I have read is a labor symptom as well. It would be nice if it were a little more predictable. :) I've got my bags packed and am ready to go! But now, I feel like I spend a lot of my time analyzing my symptoms and wondering if its going to be soon. Its so distracting! :)

im going to have my baby tuesday morning by c-section due to my PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension) i will be 38 weeks and 4 days!~! yay!!!!!
