So I am 36.5 weeks and just got off bed rest and my meds for preterm labor. I was dilated 1+ cm at 31 weeks with tons of contractions. So glad I made it this far. Today at my appt. I was 80% effaced and dilated to 3 cm. Dr. said labor could come today, or not for weeks. Just wondering what everyone else's situation is. Not knowing when labor is going to start is exciting, but can be frustrating too. My son was one week late (my Dr. thought I would go into labor at 36 weeks - so that was a long waiting game).

Your story is reassuring to me. That's awesome that you will reach full term. I've been on bedrest since 26 weeks. I'm now 29 weeks 2 days. I just got out of the hospital 2 days ago for preterm labor. I was having contractions and didn't know it. They stopped my contractions and I wasn't dilating anymore so they sent me home. I am fingertip to 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced. Don't know how long it will be now but hopefully I will last as long as you. Good luck to you!
