Hey! I have had stretchmarks for a while now... I do the same as you... stretch mark cream, cocoa butter non stop... it does no good. I swear i have like a road map on my belly. I guess all you can do is wait for them to fade. I'm due dec 5th however I'm going in to be induced tonight (2nd attempt) due to my high blood pressure |

Everything I've read and my Dr. says they're nothing to get rid of them, just as krista said just wait for them to fade. It's just a little souvenier of pregnancy. |

i am due on the 6th and i understand how frustrating this is. lol. i dont have alot of stretch marks on my belly but TONS on my chest. so depressing! But i have been putting cocoa butter cream and it hasnt really worked all that much. just faded some of the 'not-so-bad' ones. But i read somewhere that pulse-dye laser treatment can get rid of them after your baby is born. Im not sure if it works but i will check into it. maybe there will be some relief! good luck! |

Stretch marks are genetic and getting them have nothing to do with what kinds of creams or oils you use. You probably would have gotten them at this point no matter what you did! You just have to learn to live with them. They will fade, but they'll always be there. |

Ooo can't do anything about them. This past week I've noticed VERY light stretchmarks on my tummy...I'm waiting for the deep ones to get me...I can't go through my pregnancy thinking I'll be mark free anymore =( |

stretch marks come from one's elasticity of the skin. Some women get them and some don't. Creams and Vit E are just old wives tales. I still use them though hoping after my pregnancy they will fade and not be so red. |

haha welcome to the club of stretch marks...I look at them like this they are just a reminder that your baby is growing like he/she should and if they are really light colored then you shouldn't notice them too badly after the pregnancy but, if they are red or purple looking then count on them staying unless you get laser surgery done...personally, I'm loving my stretch marks...I am already overweight to begin with so I had a few to start with but now I have more to add to them...so, it's not as dramatic to me as it would if you didn't have any to start..but, don't worry about stretch marks..they can be a good thing...and like I said it's a reminder of the bundle of baby you have in you it's not like your getting fat because of eating or anything they are caused by your baby growing so, don't be so disappointed...but, if you really wanna get rid of them you will have to go to the plastic surgeon to do a laser treatment on them it is costly but, if it matters that much to do then go for it...cause lotion will not make them disappear just keep them from itching that's all. |

Just a nice reminder. I too have tons of stretch marks on my belly and my mother told me that if I were to ever be in an accident or get washed up on a beach, people would know I am someone's mother. That has made all the difference in how I've viewed my stretch marks. Hope this helps! |

I've had stretch marks all my life, so the new pregnancy ones aren't bothering me. |
