thank you guys so much!! well here goes.. started on thursday night (23rd) i was getting bh all the time, but it was actually nothing new as i had been getting them for about 2 weeks so i just told myself it was nothing, then all of a sudden i had the biggest urge to go to the shopping centre to buy my toddler a pressie (for when the baby was born) and i HAD to do it now before it closed at 8pm, (it was 7 at the time), that was my first clue, i noticed while walking around they were 10 mins apart but not hurting so tried to keep ignoring them. Went loo and passed a whole lot of mucus. At about 10.30pm they started to get uncomfortable we put DS in his pushchair and went for a walk to see if it would get things moving, nothing changed, so took a couple of panadol and went to bed and put it down to another false alarm. At 2am as woken with the need to use the bathroom and had a few painful contractions, went back to bed at was woken again at 3am with contractions 3 mins apart. Went to the hospital at 5am to find i was already 4cm dialated and 75% effaced, this made me happy as with my first i sat a 3cm for a very long time. Got into the bathtub.. ahh bliss the best thing ever and learnt how to use the gas.. he he that was fun, it was leaking a little so DH, my mum and me were all laughing, nurse checked me at 7.30am, STILL only 4cm but fully effaced... was not happy, contractions were getting stronger now, so decided to get out of the tub and walk around, nurse refused to check me again till 11.30am, to find i was 6 cm, i swear i thought i would have been further along with that, i started to think at that stage this baby was never gonna come out! then i had three contractions on top of each other and BANG my waters broke everywhere, thats when all hell broke loose for me, sucking on the gas like it was my life support, i dont think it was working anymore but it gave me something to bite down on, contractions were one on top of the other and at 12noon i was fully dialed.. in half an hour i had dialted 4cm.. 12.32pm Dylan was born weighing 7lb 14oz, no tearing or anything so stocked about that, and my hubby was amazing!! Had to stay in hospital for 24hrs as i had a positive group b strep so they just had to monitor him. By the was i never had my blood show till he was being born!

CONGRATS!!!!!! YOU RACED ME AND WON the due date countdown!!!!! LOL. I was due the 24th, still no sign of my baby girl. How wonderful :-) ....I wish you and your baby the best!!!
