Yesterday starting at 8 in the morning I had contractions every two hours, and around 6 they stopped so I assumed BH contractions. But I felt my stomach tighten up a lot, so I timed them and sure enough, they were every two hours...around 1 last night they came every hour, then at 4:40 this morning they were every ten minutes, now they are every 4-5 minutes, I haven't exactly timed them, they have been getting sharper and lasting for about 2 minutes each, is this BH? I haven't even lost my mucus plug or anything...I want to seriously cry these hurt so bad. I don't want to go to L&D and get the false alarm, so I'm trying to wait it out til my appointment at 3:45, which is almost 7 hours away, but the more intense these get the more I want to go to L&D and see whats happening. I'm 36weeks today and I'm very confused about me not losing my mucus plus, I never been checked for an internal...WHATS HAPPENING????

I'd go to L&D just in case! Good luck to you!

I'd call your doc and tell them. They may want you to come in to stop your labor.

Call your Dr. and see if they will see you before 3:45 or advise you to do differently.

Yes, call them! call them! Could very well be labor, and at 36 weeks, they might not want you delivering quite yet.

Also, let them know that you are taking evening primrose oil. Since this has not been tested on pregnant women it can be causing some side effects.
