At my birthing class our instructor told a good way to determine if you are leaking or if it just discharge or urine. She said to sit on the toilet and put a towel across the toilet so you are sitting on it. Sit there for about 5 minutes or so. If you get up and there is a little wet spot and you know you have urinated, then you are leaking. She said you should get to the hospital within an hour of leakage, or your water breaking. She said that is can be hard for people to determine the smell or what not, so I thought this a was a good way to figure out if you are leaking. Hope this helps and good lluck.
