Mine really varies...I think it has a lot to do when you are actually still enough to notice! |

My pumpkin is a very active baby... He moves between 9:30-11am, 4-6pm, 9-11pm, and all kinds of movement when I am trying to sleep. This leads me to believe I will not be sleeping anytime in the next few years! |

sometimes it seems like my little girl moves all day long (and night). for me it all depends on what I'm doing and what I ate. Lately its been mostly in the morning and at night before I go to sleep. |

She seems to be awake when I am...If I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night she'll start moving around, when I get up in the morning...pretty much all day long. I don't notice it at night except for when I first lay down. I think she's just adjusting her position then. She's so active! Luckily, it's not supposed to be a sign of how they are when they are born. :) |

My baby is 100% on a routine schedule where she sleeps all day and is up at 11pm-2am kicking up a storm. Last night I felt like I had the exorcist in my stomach. I'm at 36 weeks and I think she was tyring to turn over in my belly, but without room, she didn't get too far. Anyways, she's usually awake after meals too, like after breakfast for a while, etc., but not as long as her exercise routine that starts at bed time! I hope she learns to switch her schedule or my dh and I are in for some longgggggggggggggggg nights... |

I hope I heard right too! At least I knwo she's ok in there right now, even though my insides take a serious beating on some days. I notice that if I lay on my back she really moves a lot...I think her room in there gets all stretched out and she doesn't like it. :) |

When you move during the day, baby is usually rocked to sleep, thats why babies love swings so much, your body movement rocks them. They are more active when you lie down and especially at night because you are finally resting and they are not being rocked. Mine is very active compared to my first, i feel him everytime i relax, from what i've heard, because they are active at night doesn't mean they'll be the same when they are born (or that is what i'm desperately hoping for). I know what its like having a newborn and lack of sleep, its the hardest thing i've ever done. I was fine for the first 3 weeks then my body just burnt out from exhuastion. Can't believe i'll be going through this again. |

MIne really doesn't have a routine, and seems to move around all the time, although never vigorously. A wiggle here and there when he's in the mood. I hope he has more success getting into a routine when he's finally here! |

I mentionned the crazy movements I had to my cousin and she told me that the funny thing is, when she had her first baby, she was always active, punching and kicking and when she was born, she continued on that type of high-activity level. When she was pregnant with her second, the baby was pretty chill in her womb, laid back, relaxing, and that's exactly what her daughter is like now that's she's born (well almost 3 now!). Anyways, I thought it was interesting, because if that's true...I think my baby has ADD already! She's sooo hyperactive in there! |

yourtrish, men if thats the case, i'm screwed no peace or sleep for me. |

yourtrish-I hope that what you say is right because if that's the case my babe is going to be chill, she has her moments of activity, but I never get woken up at night from kicks, only when I get up to pee does my baby kick or move around. During the day there are subtle movements, but really not that much freaking out. That usually happens about 8 at night, a little wiggly time and then chill. |

My other tree children were all very active in the womb, and yes, they are all energetic now. This baby, due in just over a week now, is extremely active. You can see the points come right out - DH said it's like watching the alien, freaky. He said he's be scared if that was happening to him! It hurts too! Takes my breath away. Baby has a good schedule going and most nights doesn't wake me up at all, my bladder or my back doea. If he sticks to his routine at the moment, I think we'll be alright when he arrives. He starts up at around 5 or 6am ish, then again around 9, lunchtime, late afternoon, 7pm, and again before going to bed at around 9 up until 11ish. Most days are fairly busy in 'play' but there are the quieter days of gentle movements instead of the epileptic fits he sseems to have! |
